Swedish House Mafia releases their new single ‘Antidote’ on 12/16/11. The track is a collaboration with Knife Party (side project for two members of Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen) and treads a much darker path than the Swede’s usual productions and comes with a massive dubstep-esque warbling bottom-end.

Reminiscent of Prodigy's now-classic "Smack My Bitch Up" video, "Antidote" was shot in New York City's Meatpacking District at a location designed to mirror a Japanese strip club. In the clip, a team of gangsters are seen ogling topless dancers before they don masks to rob an underworld boss. (SHM never actually appear in the short, which was cut in both clean and explicit versions.)
Steve Angello talks to MTV about this video: "Great guys," he said of the video's creators."[We] gave them free creativity to do whatever they wanted to, and they did. They delivered. They ran with the idea and it's crazy."
"What I like about that video is that it feels real," Axwell said. "It's a part of a movie. Something's going on there that's really dark."
